When Georgie met Ally....

This morning George finally got to meet our friends Rachel and Jason's little girl Ally who just turned 2 a few weeks ago. The look on her face is priceless... I think she was pretty relieved when I left and took him with me!

Four Month Update

Just a quick update on our little man...well, he's not so little! He had his 4 month checkup this morning and has grown to 27" (97th percentile) and is weighing in at 17lbs10oz (90th percentile). I thought he felt heavy! He has become increasing vocal and actually quite conversational. He is grasping with both hands and we're pretty sure he rolled over last weekend. We're just not sure if it counts because it was a one time deal. Maybe a fluke? We'll take it! The Dr. gave us the go-ahead on rice cereal, so fun first food pictures should be posted soon. What else...oh yes, George has decided he needs to taste and/or chew on everything - his fists, blankies, toys, our hands. He's quite the slobberpuss. It could mean he's teething, but I'm hoping that's a while off.

Cousin Craziness!

Last Sunday was a busy day at our house...we had Brian's sisters and their families, his parents, and my mother over for a joint spring birthday celebration. There are six cousins total now, Peter (10), Kaylei(5), Mikayla(4), Ethan(3), Jeweliza (16 mos) and George. George was fascinated with all the big kids. We tried and tried to get a photo of them all together. I should say my sis-in-law Julie did...she was our paparrazzi for the day! It was impossible to get them all to look at the camera, but Julie did capture some pretty great moments.

This is How We Roll...

It was a beautiful day, and early this evening George and I decided to take his new jogging stroller for a spin. I think he liked it!

First Family Photo

It occurred to me that we have no family photos since the day George was born. My mom took this one on Mother's Day up at her house. Of course we couldn't get George to look at the camera. But we tried - A for effort!

Helping with the Yard

Not helping so much as looking really cute in his baby Carhartts! We decided to get dressed up for working outdoors and go visit Brian out in the yard today. He's hard at work on the front yard, and it's starting to look much better already. The next step is replanting the lawn. George seemed to really enjoy the sunshine. I think it might be the first time he's ever seen that big ball of light in the sky!

Playtime

George is getting better at sitting in his Bumbo seat. He lasts about 10 minutes...but when he's done, he's done. Tummy time is also getting a little more enjoyable. We're hoping he'll roll over soon - he gets pretty close, but hasn't quite pushed himself over yet.
